after lockdown, but during limited school opening, i was granted the position of recitation coordinator to ease the amount of work put on the arth 200/arth 201 lecturer during the pandemic. years later, the position and the title stuck
recitation acts as a "lab" to the main survey art history lecture and with this new position, i was responsible with creating all of the material for the recitations
this material includes (but not limited to): all powerpoints with notes, large assignments with grading rubrics, weekly assignments, makeup assignments, meeting agendas, gathering articles, writing the syllabus, writing in-class activities, and extra credit options
i am also responsible for leading the weekly meetings with the teaching team of other recitation instructors, helping them solve problems (including student problems), keeping the lecturer informed, and attending faculty meetings
